The Food Science and Human Nutrition Department is dedicated to research that generates knowledge about food and nutrition, enhancing human health and increasing quality of life. Whether our research is performed at the bench top or out in the field studying animals, humans, or populations, find answers to some of the most burning questions around nutrition and health, food, food safety, functional foods, and flavors from our expert faculty.
