Food Week Kick Off Celebration
- - Reitz Union – Front Lawn | 8:30 AM–1:00 PM
  - Visit the Food Week information booth on the Lawn @ the Reitz Union to learn about planned activities. Join the Food Science & Human Nutrition Department and FSHN Student Club in a week-long event of food-related demonstrations, research, community service, and food.
Coffee Roasting Demonstration

  - What better than FREE morning COFFEE to start your day! Stop by the Food Science & Human Nutrition Department to explore the science of coffee roasting while sampling your choice of light and dark roast options.

Donut University (REGISTRATION REQUIRED)
- - Food Science & Human Nutrition (FSHN Bldg #475) | 9:00–10:30 AM & 10:30 AM–12:00 PM
  - Sign up to learn the science behind Mermaid Donuts created in the FSHN lab.
    - In this hands-on experience, students will learn the science behind donut-making while making their own donuts from scratch in the FSHN pilot kitchen. The best part: you eat what you make! So bring your appetite and sign up here!

    - Join us at the Reitz Union for a FREE refreshing beverage developed in the Food Science & Human Nutrition Department: Beverage Research Unit. Share your taste preferences in our sensory analysis and review real-time data of the people's choice.
Picnic on the Farm
- - Field & Fork Farm (Student Council Garden) | 4:30–5:30 PM (RSVP Here)
  - Join the FSHN Student Club for food and nutrition student engagement opportunities and a tour of the Field & Fork Farm. Tour highlights include harvest-ready produce, student research, and volunteer experiences. The tour will be followed by a short cooking demonstration and a picnic for participants.

Food is Medicine – An Interactive Journey with UF's Dietetics Program
- - Food Science & Human Nutrition (FSHN Bldg. 475) | 9:30–11:30 AM
  - Visit the FSHN Department to engage with our Dietetics students while navigating stations set up to ask questions, discuss food pairings and preparation, taste food samples, and participate in the process of developing new skills to prepare and cook our RDN-approved choices.
    - Tips and recipes will be available.
Campbell’s Soup Industry Presentation and Internships

  - Join the FSHN Student Club as they host Campbell’s Soup Co. representatives to discuss their position in the industry, innovative projects, and student internship opportunities.
