Loop Legislative Internship Support

Earn financial assistance for federal or state legislative internships.

The Loop Legislative Internship Program was established by the Florida Farm Bureau Federation in honor of Carl B. Loop, Jr., and provides financial assistance for full-time CALS undergraduate or graduate students who will be completing government internships at the state or federal level.

Students wishing to apply for financial support through the Carl Loop Legislative Internship Program should be actively seeking or have accepted a federal or state legislative internship.

Deadlines are as follows:

Fall	August 1
Spring	November 1

Finding a legislative internship:

A wide variety of internship programs are available for students. For example, students may wish to intern at the state or federal level with an individual senator or representative or for a committee. Many of Florida's U.S. Senators and Representatives have information about internship programs on their websites.
