Shrimp School 2012 Postponed!

Due to the growing demands for more information regarding use of food additives, moisture retention agents, and shelf-life treatments that clash with retail expectations for 'chem-free' and so-called 'clean labeled seafood', we have decided to introduce a new school, "SEAFOOD PRODUCT INTEGRITY". This school will address all seafood, including shrimp. Presentations and displays will include perspectives from research, commerce and regulation across the United States, Canada and Europe.

The event will be coordinated with the Seafood Science and Technology Conference (SST) scheduled for Oct 30 – Nov. 2, 2012 in Clearwater Beach, Florida (http://fshn.ifas.ufl.edu/seafood/sst)

Shrimp School will return in 2013

Organized by the University of Florida's IFAS Cooperative Extension Services and FL Sea Grant College Program. Shrimp School logo by Julissa Hernandez.
