Teaching and Research Interests
I am a lecturer with a broad-spectrum of interest in food science and related subject areas. My background and research interest has been in the area of sphingolipid biosynthesis, focusing primarily on protein purification and regulation of the enzymatic pathways using yeast as model systems.
Primary teaching responsibilities include Introductory Food Science (FOS342), Man’s Food (FOS2001) and Food Lipids (FOS6936). Other responsibilities include academic advising, seminar coordinator and graduate recruitment.
