Nutritional Sciences Minor

The Nutritional Sciences minor provides students with an overview of nutrients, nutrient requirements throughout the life cycle, and metabolic regulation of nutritional pathways. A minimum of 15 credits is required and includes four core courses plus one or more electives. The Nutritional Sciences minor is open to all students, but is particularly appropriate for students majoring in biology, microbiology and cell science, or zoology; or students who are interested in professional programs in medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. A cumulative GPA of 2.5 for courses in the minor is required.
